was formed under the Presidency of the University, and it was called the Directorate of Public Cultural Relations at that time. The Department of Missions and Cultural Relations is concerned with many activities and events and the development of procedures for each of them.
Among the most important of these events are delegations, secondments, seminars and conferences inside and outside Iraq, hosting and sabbaticals, fellowships, and foreign missions, holding memoranda of understanding with Arab and foreign universities, honoring and receiving visitors and delegations from outside Iraq through the activities carried out by the university, training teaching staff, and research missions.
